Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Brilliant Malta began with a personal mission. As an Asian living in Malta, I often struggled to find the skincare products I had grown up using and trusting. Many of my favourite brands from Korea, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines were difficult to find locally, and ordering online was often expensive, inconvenient, and time-consuming.

With the support of my husband, who believed in my vision from the very beginning, we decided to create a family-run business dedicated to bringing authentic Asian skincare products closer to customers in Malta. Together, we built Brilliant Malta with a simple goal: to offer genuine, high-quality beauty products that we personally know, trust, and use.

Today, Brilliant Malta is proud to be one of Malta's trusted destinations for Korean skincare, also known as K-Beauty. Korean skincare has become one of the most popular beauty trends worldwide, known for its innovative formulas, effective ingredients, and skincare-first philosophy. We carefully select Korean beauty products that deliver real results, helping our customers achieve healthy, radiant, and well-cared-for skin.

Many of these are products I grew up with, products that have been part of my family's daily skincare routines, and products trusted across Asia for generations.

Unlike many retailers that source products through multiple intermediaries or European subcontractors, we work to bring genuine products from their countries of origin. Because skincare products can be sensitive to storage and transportation conditions, we take extra care in how our products reach Malta. We choose air freight over sea freight to help reduce transit times and ensure products arrive in the best possible condition.
